Superstar Gary Frank joins writer Geoff Johns for a epic story teaming Superman with an adult version of the Legion of Super-Heroes.

When he was a boy, Clark Kent was isolated and alone until he met this teen team from the 31st  › Books › Comics & Graphic Novels › Graphic Novels. When he was a boy, Clark Kent was brought to the future by the Legion of Super-Heroes, the galaxy-spanning super-teen-team. Now he has been summoned once again, only to find the Legion broken and under attack by an Earth-based group of super-teens who claim that Superman was a human, and that all aliens must be destroyed.

Overall: Legion of Super-Heroes #5 continues the depressing death spiral of this new title. Bendis clearly is out of his comfort zone and has no plans for success with this franchise. I have no idea who would find Bendis' Fourboot Legion interesting.

This issue is not going to appeal to Bendis fans at :// Longtime followers of The Revolution know that the Legion of Super-Heroes is easily my favorite comic book franchise from any publisher.

Of course, it has been a long time since DC has published a Legion of Super-Heroes title. Since However, DC has been teasing Legionnaires all over the DCU as of late. We have seen Saturn Girl in DC Universe – Rebirth and then again in Doomsday ://   The original version of Superman's origin had him becoming a superhero when full grown.

However, in DC introduced Superboy as an addition to Superman's backstory, retconning in prequels and earlier meetings with DC characters. At the start of the Silver Age, one story, in Adventure Comics # (April, ), introduced the "Legion of Super Heroes", a trio of super-powered Legion of Super-Heroes Volume 4 #0 () This is a huge issue.

The Legion of Super-Heroes was completely rebooted. It was a bittersweet moment.
